Let’s be honest—this sport hasn’t exactly been built for us.
If you’ve spent any time in sailing, you’ve probably felt it—being talked down to, overlooked, underestimated, treated inappropriately and expected to just go along with it. Over time, that changes how you show up. You get quieter. You adjust.
Not here.
The Sailing Sisterhood is a space for women in sailing \(and anyone who identifies similarly or has felt marginalized\) to connect, speak up, and support each other — without judgment and without shrinking.
This space is anonymous on purpose. No names, boats, clubs, or identifying details. That’s what makes it real — and safe. This isn’t about calling out individuals. It’s about recognizing patterns, sharing experiences, and raising the standard for what this sport looks like moving forward.
We’re here to support, learn, and build something better—together.
