I’m Martin Redford, a UK-based Quantity Surveyor and commercial consultant with over 20 years in the construction industry. I’ve worked on everything from small refurbishments to multi-million-pound developments, across trades, management, and client roles.

I also co-founded Tradeshake, a construction technology startup built to simplify contracts between trades and homeowners. That experience showed me how stressful and fragmented this industry can be.

I created The Construction Hub to bring people together. The Construction Hub provides tradespeople, homeowners, project managers and property developers a platform to share experience, gain knowledge, and avoid the common pitfalls that come with building projects.
