Painted Bones is a self-inquiry art making group rooted in Jungian and existential traditions, designed as a living container for soul work, symbolic expression, and ongoing inner transformation. Through guided metaphor, visual storytelling, and intuitive embodied art-making, members explore unconscious material, liminal states, and archetypal themes that surface in both personal life and therapy.
Rather than replacing individual psychotherapy, Painted Bones serves as a sacred practice space to keep alive the work of self-psychotherapy between sessions. It is a ritual of return—offering members a way to metabolize insight, transmute experience into image, and deepen their process alongside others on the path.
With a foundation in radical self-honesty, creative sovereignty, and nervous system grounding, the group supports each member’s individuation journey. The work is not prescriptive but invitational: a way to listen to the psyche through gesture, image, and embodied metaphor.
