One of my favorite memories: I once reached into a box lying on the ground, thinking it was part of the sale, when a man barked, “That’s mine!” I apologized and moved on, not wanting to stay in that energy. At the very next table, sitting quietly, was the cutest miniature 1960s doll for 25-cents. I scooped her up. Later, she sold for $75.

I sort of wish I’d kept her, but she probably would have been lost in my piles of treasures by now. I’m happy a collector found her through my eBay store, which I’ve run since 2001.
