Hello! I’m Sarah, a self-proclaimed "parent in training" as I am always learning from my kids! I’m a mom of two, have hosted seven exchange students \(my bonus kids\), helped raise six godchildren, and now have eight god-grandchildren and one host grandchild. I’ve also been a nanny to children from newborn to six, giving me a broad range of parenting experiences.

I hold degrees in Child Development, Business, and a Master’s in Education, and taught elementary school in HISD before moving to PA, where I briefly taught college students.

Frustrated by the lack of community-focused parenting education, I founded The Pure Parenting Shop in 2013. I’m a Certified Teacher, Babywearing Educator, Positive Discipline Parent Educator, Love and Logic Facilitator, and Child Passenger Safety Technician.

I’m passionate about teaching and supporting families, providing a safe space to ask questions, connect, and grow on this parenting adventure.
