Al-Ihsan Wellness was created in response to a growing need I have witnessed firsthand in the Muslim community.
My name is Abdul-Hay, Executive Director and Office Manager at the Islam Care Centre in Ottawa, and a Youth Counsellor with Muslim Family Services of Ottawa, where I work directly in the mental health field with Muslim youth and families.
Through years of community work in hospitals, schools, jails, and community settings. I have consistently seen a major gap: young Muslims need a safe, structured space to heal emotionally, grow spiritually \(tazkiyah\), and develop practical life skills rooted in Islam.
This Skool provides:
[ul][li]Structured courses on addiction recovery \(pornography, substances, and behavioural habits\)[li]Islamic spirituality and tazkiyah rooted in the Qur’an, Sunnah, and classical scholarship[li]A supportive community that values accountability, consistency, and real growth
