Welcome to After the Shift.
This space is for people who work in care, leadership, advocacy, or service and are quietly carrying more than most people see.
If you’re burned out, disillusioned, grieving, or just tired of being told to “practice self-care” while the system stays broken—you’re in the right place.
This is not therapy.
This is not toxic positivity.
This is not a productivity grind.
This is a grounded, trauma-informed community for:
Support workers, coordinators, managers, advocates
Helpers recovering from burnout or moral injury
Leaders who care but are exhausted
People rebuilding after workplace harm, grief, or identity loss
What we do here:
Name what burnout actually is \(and isn’t\)
Rebuild boundaries without guilt
Regulate nervous systems stretched too thin
Untangle identity from work
Learn how to rest without collapsing
Reclaim clarity, steadiness, and self-trust
You don’t need to be “better” to be here.
You just need to be honest.
Come as you are. Stay as long as you need.
