The Mirror Project is a community for trans men and non-binary people who want a more affirming relationship with their reflection through grooming, self-care, and honest conversation.
This space exists because for many of us, mirrors have not always been neutral. They've carried expectations, pressure, confusion, and sometimes grief. Grooming, for people navigating gender, is rarely "just hair". It can be charged with hope, fear, relief, dysphoria, and the deep desire to feel aligned in our own bodies. This space has been created to hold all of that with care.
Too often, trans and nonbinary people are asked to educate others in spaces meant for care. Or they're pushed toward rigid ideas of masculinity, passing, or "transitioning the right way". Barbershops/Salons in particular can feel intimidating, sometimes unsafe, or alienating.
This community offers something different. THE MIRROR PROJECT is here to walk beside you, not tell you who to become. To see yourself clearly
