Hey there! My name is Dr. Bethany McClure and I am an Assistant Professor of Elementary Education. 👩‍🏫

As a former graduate student \(for many, many years!\) I know firsthand how the work within academia can be isolating and even confusing at times. As I completed my dissertation, one of the most helpful things that pushed me to make daily progress was co-working with others. Through co-working, weekly check-ins, and by learning how to hold myself accountable - I learned how to put systems into place that helped me reach my goal of earning my PhD. These systems continue to guide me towards success as I mentor and coach students, serve on doctoral committees, work on publications, and continue my research.
