You Served. Now You Own:
Accelerating Veteran Entrepreneurship Through Syndication, Coaching & Community
Five years ago, after noticing more veterans looking to buy small businesses and being disappointed with the lack of depth in the conversations at conferences, Dan started a weekly Google Meet video call bringing together veterans to share in the Good, Bad, and Ugly parts of the journey to acquire at least one small business.
After World War Two, around 49% of returning veterans started businesses, while the rate for post-9/11 veterans is significantly lower, with only around 5-7% venturing into entrepreneurship.
Veterans, having spent considerable time in training and the service, possess many of the character traits and hard work ethic essential for business ownership and operational success: Grit, Drive, Self-starter, Disciplined, Organized, and a Team-builder of both white-collar and blue-collar workers.
Veterans are operators. They need the mission to continue after service.
