This community exists to help first-time HYROX athletes train with confidence, earn a finish time they are proud of, and keep improving race after race.
Whether you come from running, functional fitness, or no formal training background at all, you will follow a periodized training system that adapts to you and evolves with you — so you keep progressing and never plateau.
I’m a CF-L1, Certified HYROX Performance Coach, and Head of Strength & Conditioning at Caspian Sports Club. I also coach at CrossFit Birch Bender in Newmarket, ON, and work as a Certified Personal Trainer \(ISSA\) out of Fitness Force in Keswick, ON.
I’ve competed in two HYROX races so far with my third race coming up in May. I coach with the same mindset I train by: build durable fitness, make smart pacing decisions, and keep improving year over year.
The focus is not just getting you through one event — it’s helping you build the skills, fitness, and mindset to keep improving for years.
