Hi everyone!
Iâm Dr. Steven Moates, a Speech-Language Pathologist, Clinical Associate Professor, and Program Director for an online CSD program. Iâve spent over 25 years helping students and clinicians grow in both skill and confidence â in the classroom, in clinical placements, and in the profession.
I created this space because I know how challenging it can be to navigate higher education in our field â from applying to grad school, to managing clinical feedback, to understanding whatâs really expected in practicum or internship. Sometimes, you just need an outside perspective from someone whoâs been on both sides â faculty, supervisor, and clinician.
This community exists to help you:
đ Make sense of your academic and clinical journey
đ§ Navigate difficult conversations and program expectations
đĄ Gain clarity on applications, resumes, and interviews
đŹ Connect with others who understand what youâre going through
