Hi, I’m Claire.

For a long time, I tried to push my pain deep down. I used alcohol to numb the memories of a childhood full of trauma, the scars of trafficking, the confusion of narcissistic abuse, and in turn an adulthood full of self created trauma \(until now\).

I thought if I didn’t look at it, it couldn’t hurt me.

Recently, I made the choice to set the alcohol down. I chose to stop running and start healing and in doing so, I found something I didn’t expect: Light.

I created She Stands because I know I am not the only one who has survived the unthinkable. I created this space because I see a light at the end of the tunnel, and I want you to know it’s there for you, too.

This is a safe harbor for women who are ready to heal, to breathe, and to finally stand tall in their own story.
