Hi everyone, and welcome to Sobriety Circle!
I decided to give up alcohol about a year and a half ago, and itâs been one of the best decisions Iâve ever made. At the same time, Iâve found it challenging to find like-minded people who donât want their social lives to revolve around drinking.
A little about me: I have a background in education and in restorative justice, where Iâve spent years facilitating community-building circles. Iâm bringing that experience here to help create a space where everyone can feel heard, respected, and connected.
Weâll also have a weekly meeting run on the community circle model â a chance to share, check in, and support one another in a structured but friendly way. This isnât about programs or recovery models; itâs about building a supportive, alcohol-free community where friendships can grow and nobody has to feel alone.
Iâm so excited to meet you all, hear your stories, and grow this community together.
