Why Koru....... and what does mean......
. The word Koru \(pronounced Koh-roo\) is a Māori word from New Zealand.
Koru is a Māori word for the unfurling fern frond.
Its shape is a spiral, symbolizing:
· New life, growth, and unfolding potential
· Harmony, balance, and moving forward while staying connected to your roots
· Renewal and positive change
If you’ve ever felt those pre-game butterflies turn into full-on anxiety…
Or watched a talented athlete or team freeze under pressure…
You’re in the right place.
Hi, good morning, my name is Callum Oakley, For 20+ years I’ve been a care assistant—which basically means I’m good at listening, understanding stress, and helping people feel safe.
I’ve also coached football for 21 years \(FA Level 2 certified ✅\), with FA Safeguarding qualifications for Children, for All, and for Board Members—so you know wellbeing is at the heart of what I do.
Right now, I’m sharpening the science behind it all studying a Psychology Degree, at Arden University in Birmingham.
