For all adults curious about the connection between how we talk to our kids and how that affects their:
confidence/self trust
resilience
emotional expression, regulation, & intelligence
attentiveness
healthy relationships
authenticity

When a child is emotionally fulfilled, that is when they are able to get out of “themselves” and consider another.

The truth is, most of us naturally want our child to be considerate- to be of SERVICE-

We just don’t know “HOW.”

And that is evident in the types of children, students, and adults that we are producing- the dimmed version of themselves from when they were 3 years old and full of light.

What happened to that child?
Is not the question we should be asking from a rhetorical place.

But actually, “WHAT happened to that child?”

And wondering from a curious space. Space to entertain any possibility.

May we look, reflect, and see, the part that we have played in shaping these beings-

And the closer we are to realizing, the greater the influence we’ll have.
