Teresa Gerrard has spent over 18 years helping students become confident, joyful readers. Her compassionate, energetic approach is grounded in her own experience overcoming academic struggles while earning her Bachelor's in Education.
After 10 years as a stay-at-home mom to four daughters, Teresa returned to education, working in elementary and middle schools across Omaha, NE, and St. Louis, MO. Now based in Mason City, IA, she serves as a full-time EL teacher. Her career includes roles as a classroom teacher, paraprofessional, and tutor, supporting students from New York City to Los Angeles.
Teresa is currently pursuing a Reading Certification through LETRS to strengthen her knowledge and impact. Outside of teaching, she loves reading, spending time with loved ones, attending live music events, and caring for her dog, Daisy.
