My name is Darby Tropf, and I am a homeschooling mom with a lifelong passion for holistic education, wellness, and hands-on learning. Before moving into homestead-based teaching, I spent more than 25 years as a holistic wellness coach and certified Pilates instructor, helping individuals build healthier, more balanced lives.
My love for natural science and sustainable living led me to create Vontro Funny Farm, where I now raise poultry and gamebirds using holistic, regenerative practices. I also operate a private kitten sanctuary and raise Goldendoodles with a focus on natural care and early development.
I bring these real-world experiences into my teaching, encouraging students to explore animal husbandry, life sciences, sustainable agriculture, and natural wellness. My goal is to make learning meaningful, curiosity-driven, and connected to the world around us. I believe students thrive when they understand how living systems work and feel empowered to care for them responsibly.
