I grew up in a small farming and ranching community in Oklahoma, where helping others was a way of life. After serving in the U.S. Air Force as a computer operator, I spent years searching for purpose while battling addiction. In March 1996, I began my recovery, and I’m grateful to say I’ve remained clean and sober ever since.
My journey led me into maintenance work, where I found joy in solving problems and connecting with people. In 2003, I started my own business, and by 2008, I registered [URUguru.info](http://URuGuru.info) to begin my path as a life coach.
