Group Spiritual Direction and Practices for Veterans is a community provided by Archangel Ministries, where veterans gather in small groups—facilitated by a certified military spiritual director—to support one another in exploring God's presence, finding meaning, and nurturing spiritual resilience amid service-related challenges. In the military context, these groups address spiritual impacts such as combat trauma, moral injury, deployment stress, transition struggles, and questions of purpose, forgiveness, and hope through shared listening, prayer, reflection, discernment, journaling, meditation, and other contemplative practices. This Archangel Ministries community welcomes veterans of Christian faith to participate in group sessions, share experiences and resources, encourage peer support, and learn self-care practices that foster healing and wholeness, complementing mental health services and Christian faith communities.
