Over the years, I’ve hatched and raised hundreds of chickens, learning plenty of tricks and lessons along the way. Now, I’m excited to build a supportive, down-to-earth community for fellow feathered-friend lovers—where we can share our wins, our challenges, and everything in between.

I live on a lifestyle block where I mainly raise heritage hens \(and roosters\), selling them to other backyard and small-scale chicken keepers. I also run a little farm shop where I sell fresh eggs from my flock of layers.

I know firsthand how overwhelming and even discouraging it can be to search online for chicken-keeping advice—so much of it can feel confusing or condescending. My goal is to offer practical, real-world guidance on issues like worms, mites, lice, introducing new birds to an existing flock, and more.
