Hendo BJJ is a group of like minded families who train in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Men, women and children who are learning the worlds best self defense system for the Average Joe or the Average Jane.
We do not learn Jiu-Jitsu to FIGHT, we train in Jiu-Jitsu to not lose. Sometimes the fight comes to us, we deal with it and we get to go home to our family.

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu does not depend on Size, Strength, Speed or Athleticism to defend ourselves; we depend on Awareness, Leverage, Technique and Timing to protect ourselves. It’s about putting together our PLAN together and stay responsible for own safety.

World renowned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu legend Rickson Gracie put it this way: “sometimes we don’t win, we can’t win….but that has nothing to do with losing”.

If we are jumped, and we neutralize the event, and we get to go home. We didn’t have to win, we just don’t lose, and get to see our family…
